Information for the Essay # 1

When I first chose a person to write a biographical sketch, I had chosen Micki Dahne. When I began to research her, I noticed it was hard to get information about here that was not on a pay website, or didn't pertain to a reading of some sort. This was very frustrating, so I chose a new person, Caroline Myss. There were a lot of sites about her and most had a lot of the same information, but all were pretty helpful. For this blog I have chosen Three sites that I found most helpful in my writing. The first site was :http://www.shiftinaction.com/discover/luminaries/caroline_myss This site contained information about what is her field of study, and what drew her to it. It also contained information about her rate of accuracy when diagnosing illness with her intuitive ability. This information was taken from Shift in Action, 2005 Institue of Noetic Sciences(ions) ll 101 San Antonio Road, Fetaluma, CA 94953, USA The next website I chose was http://www.myss.com/feature/radio/ This site contained information about Ms. Myss's weekly radio show. It showed how to tune in and listen by phone for US residents, and international ones too. It also was a link for on-line listeners. Show times are posted there as well. The show is called Sacred Contracts. It gives a brief overview about some of the topics covered on the show. On this same website under http://www.myss.com/features/bio/ There was a featured bio about her as well. It talks about her degrees, and the books she has written and co-written with others. It talks about Woundology, which is a term she has come up with to identify a syndrome she was encountered. It also mentions the various publications she appears in and her show that was featured on the Oxygen network. This website is the official website of Caroline Myss. This items were posted by Mr. David Smith, he is the on-line business manager for Ms. Myss. Last but not least, I chose http://www.answers.com/topic/caroline-myss This contained a biography about Ms. Myss, complete with where she grew up and what schools she attended. This article was written by Ms. Jane Spear. Most of the information listed on this site came from The Alternative Medicine Encyclopedia People, and also Wikipedia.
